My car is leaking trans fluid. looks like its coming from the pan gasket ( i think). I am taking it in on next monday. thats the soonest i can get in. Anybody else have this problem or a leaking trans? only 13000 miles too.

I had the same exact problem at 15,000 miles. brought it in to chrysler and the guy didn't seem surprised at all. he said it was some kind on an O-ring issue. anyway, its been 3 weeks and i just checked my pan today and its clean and leak free.

Ya, what he said. LOL

This is my 2nd 300C and it happened to both around 10k. Just had my SRT done 2 weeks ago.

Pretty common... by the way, did you jack up your 300 recently, or did a service shop do some work that needed the car to be raised???? Just trying to test someone else's theory...

Here's some links: Add me to the leaking trans crew...

Both of mine were never jack or towed. My C i just went out to drive the car and there was a huge puddle, and the SRT was a slower leak that would drop about quarter shot glass at a time.

Yeah, I can't remember which member it was.... his and a few others started after they jacked one side of the car (drivers side specifically) up,,,, just wondering how many others.. even though I know that is not the principal cause..
Thanks for the feedback Chris!

Is this something that's on all C's? I have a 2007 with 1500 miles. Should I start looking under the car soon?

Anyone else with a 2007 have had this happen?

speaking of sensors...i also noticed about 3 weeks before i found the leak that i would pull out of my parking garage and for some reason my car was in 2nd gear. this would happen 2 to3 times a week. i didnt touch the shifter...i didnt put it in 2nd gear...after i got my car back it never happened again. so it makes sense that a sensor had something to do with it.
