Thumbs up **SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT** - Introducing Your 2008 Calendar Contest Judges

Ladies & Gentlemen, boys & girls, children of all ages, gaggle around for some exciting news!!!

I am so proud to present your 2008 Calendar contest judges. They are (drum roll please)...

bruno (bruno)

Hemi57 (John)

ResumeSpeed (Dieter...haha)

I can't think of any better people, all of which are my friends, to be associated with and have them do this. They have all promised to be unbiased during the voting portion of this contest and I have complete faith they will put 110% effort into it.

All three judges are positive true forum leaders here and I owe them a debt of gratitude for taking some pressure off me during this. Please take a moment and thank them (suck ups allowed...haha) as well for stepping up to the plate for me.

Can ya tell I'm feelin' GOOD!!! Lets see more entries in the thread too.

Bernie

Goodonya Bernie. I feel proud to be associated with such an esteemed group of 300C and 300CForums "nuts".

Like I have said in the Calendar entry thread, the "car's the star", but of course the background is all important too.

What a coincidence, I will be judging the 2008 entries in November when my own SRT 61 is Miss November.

Thanks again John! I'll be putting your month in the thread when November comes around. I'll also give you guys plenty of time to get prepared for your daunting task, and I'll be putting all the entrants in a separate thread to make for easier viewing.

I'm waiting for RS to make a special announcement, but if he doesn't do it soon, I'm spilling the beans. Got that RS? You know what I'm talking about. What's "NEW"...haha.

Shhh!! If anyone here were to find out that I traded my beloved SRT8 for a Prius I might have to run and hide for awhile!

Hey Dieter, watch out, the Aussie dollar has moved out of Pacific Peso status and is chasing down the Greenback for parity of value. So for Shane's "goodwill" I could buy about 16 Imperial Gallons of Petrol for SRT 61 (19 US Gallons of Gas).

Come to think about it, I could do with the Whitman's more than petrol right now

It sure would be a lot easier if the Aussie blokes would match our dollar 1-for-1 like Canada just did, eh? And while you are at it, could you switch over to "real" gallons for the petrol?

It would make it easier for us Aussies too mate, getting stuff from the US and taking the hit on exchange rates & exorbitant shipping costs.

Only those Aussies old enough to remember know what a "gallon" is, or like me had my Grandfather tell me about them .

OZ went to metric and therefore litres in 1967.
