Yes illegal to sell but perhaps like Michael Jackson's tapes "Barely Legal" to give away, shipping and handling not included.

Now that's wierd. My pdf is 174MB (173,822 KB). One would think they would all be the same. With all the extras on the CD, the total size is 258 MB....still well within the capacity of a CD.

One of the sister sites yanks threads where people try to obtain bootlegged copies. This site has a thread (months old) where a moderator described how a similar site was closed and disbanded for similar practices. It would be bad to lose this great site because some people will pony up big bucks for the car but won't come up with chump change to buy the service manual.

Chrysler's list price for the CD is $90. I got mine off of EBay for about $55 (includes shipping & all that special handling you have to pay for). The seller was "platinum604" (no connection to me). Only problem was it took about 15 days to receive.

Hmmmmmm...your CD seems to be differnet than mine.

My .pdf file (2005-LX-SM.pdf) is 173,807 KB. Also, the entire contents of my CD is only 186 MB.

I wonder why mine is different and what I might be "missing"? It appears to all be on there.

My computer says my 2005-LX-SM.pdf is 173,809 KB. There are (6) other files totalling about 17,000 KB.
