100,000+ miles and resting...

thought i'd post this here too...

here it is guys and gals! i have more than reached 100,000 miles in princess... this picture was taken last thursday night, before i put princess away for the winter.

i just bought a little tuner type car... a civic hybrid... it does 48mpg, so i'll be saving some change over the winter as well... more money for mods!

please post if u have over 100,000 miles as well or are getting close... i'm interested to know how many others who have driven the piss out of their hemi or base/touring...

i've still got some tune-up/maintenance to do to her b4 she is really out for the count of the winter... but, no more daily driving for her...

wow, how has she been holding up at the 100,000 mile marker? any major problems anything we should look out for? looks like your winter already started its 80 here today.

actually, she held up gr8... in the beginning, my only real issue was the sun roof motor needing replacing, and i had them increase the autostick shift points...

just keep up with maintenance items, and u should be fine... i change oil every 6,000-10,000 miles... otherwise, u are just throwing away good expensive mobil 1 synthetic... heh...

it seems like the only 300s that were truly poorly built were the v6 models... they definitely took pride in the hemi's...

I am just amazed that you have over 100K miles on such a great looking car. Even if you bought it in '04 that is a lot of miles and very well cared for. Do you store it each winter?? That would make that mileage even more unreal.

Keep the faith

thx bud... this will actually be the fist winter i store her... i was doing just fine on mileage (about 35,000) till i met my gf that lives about 80 miles away from my work... then, i moved out by her and decided to commute... and, it was over for miles then... plus, i've made an austin trip, a houston trip, a few indy trips, and many chicago trips from iowa...

i do try to keep her looking good... i have some chipage in the front end that is wearing on me now, so i'm either going to use that paintchip kit on it, or get it repainted by the guy that did my roof at chrysler... he does jobs on the side...

thx for all the compliments... i just enjoy driving her, and have become really knowledgeable about the car... i just am in awe that i have had no issues with her... i can never get those miles back, but it's going to be a long, long while b4 she gets another 100,000... heh...

can't wait to switch the look completely up for the spring/summer...
