MIRROR COVERS WITH LED TURN SIGNALS INDICATOR MIRRORS from hkplus ebay seller

Hi there guys,
I have just been burned by this F*****A**hole and thought it was only right to post and warn all other 300 owners around the world that this guy sells ****. Dont compromise your ride. I purchased the mirrors even though the price was a little rich for plastic covers with the led turn signals a few weeks back. When they arrived I must have grabbed the right one (right hand side) (Murphys Law) and did a test dummy fit. All was well, not the best fit but hey, its Hong Kong! I had a fix already in mind for the visible 3-4mm opening between the original mirror and the HK mirror cover. Anyway, I take the covers to a local panel shop and get them sprayed, they came up a treat. A week later a technician guru friend of mine suggested we install these to a factory appearance concealing all wires. This did prove tricky (and he loves a challenge) and involved removing the original mirror completely off the car and dissassembling it. To cut this long story a little shorter, after running all the wires through the original mirror and wiring loom out from the mirror and through the door loom all was great. Connections were made and checked, left and right and lights were a flashin. NOW, it came time to fit the indicators to the inside of the mirror covers as they where now just hanging from the original mirrors. Clip, clip right hand side lens in, fit over original mirror, not a bad result. (all 3M tape had been removed prior to spaying giving me greater control in fittment). Now for the left, clip,clip WHAT THE F**K mirror cover is almost an inch shorter!! could not believe my eyes. After all that work, money and effort I now have to reverse the change and either buy two new mirrors or have them filled and painted as we had to drill two small holes in them to feed through the wires from the LED indicator lenses. BUYER BEWARE!!! I am also told that mirror sizes do vary from country to country, however this guy does not have a MATCHING PAIR for the Australian market place. CAREFULL IF YOU ARE GAME ENOUGH to buy from this A**HOLE!!! I did speak to him once when I called HK, I do have his number, he has not replied to any of my emails and has so far not answered his phone again either!!!!!!!!!!! Sorry to make this a lengthy post but I wish this not to happen to anyone else, nor for this A**HOLE to rip anyone else off and keep lining his pockets with our hard earned cash!!!! JUST A NOTE THIS GUY TRADES ON EBAY AS HKPLUS AND MOTORPARTS07. DONT GET CAUGHT OUT.

Wow! That's really wierd because I bought a pair from him and did a test fit before I got them painted and mine were great so I got them painted and a fitted the LED markers and adhered them into place and everything is good to go. I have a contact (I guess a former member here) who said he would install them for me (great guy!) when I met him at the Chrysler commercial shoot in Oct. Sorry to hear about your troubles man! I guess I got lucky to have a pair that fit right on!

I noticed these are made out of ABS now. Mine were the original fiberglass ones. Don't know if that makes a difference. The drivers side fits a little tighter than the passenger side but both are fine. I used silicone to attach mine.

You didn't test fit both sides before paint?

im actually thinking of buying LED mirrors. i saw the ones in post #6 and i dont think they even look good. the LED part looks cheap.
