what am i better off doing?

should i buy an 05 or should i just wait for the 06 to come out? i read a couple of posts that said that there really isn't much change to the car. obviously it is going to be harder to find what i want in a car now that the new models will be coming out soon.

It's April, the 05 has already been out over a year, get an 06 this late in the game. You can order it exactly how you want it, use the forum to learn how good (or bad) the options are.

06' it! 05's were basically "like" production test cars LOL. An 06' should have a less little headaches to bother you every other month.

Getting an '05 this late in the game will be basically getting a year old car (and its implicit depreciation) right off the bat.

At this point, unless you find one nice deal, hang for an '06.

A deal can be had on '05s..

Consider this...

Bought a Black 05 with the exact options we wanted and was able to get a total of $2K off MSRP ( $1K straight off the top and $1K for allowing Chrysler the financing - which they matched my CU's deal, so that was no loss)...
...then...
consider that the 06's are $1.3K more for the base 300C.

This makes the '05 a $3.3K diff! Now I may be fooling myself, but I think that if you can make that kind of deal, you may be better off with an '05 (assuming that you plan to keep the car a min of 3-4 years AND you will be able to utilize warranty work and stay on top of the TSBs).

I don't see the resale % values coming down much on these cars until 07-08 models hit the streets.

just my 2-cents...

If money isn't an option and you can wait then get the '06. But like jh said, you can get a pretty good deal now on the '05. I got 3K knocked off my sticker and for me that sealed the deal.

I paid 2k over for mine last month. I got the 1k off for financing with chrysler. I thought buying any car over msrp was a joke. But I guess after hearing people actually paid 5k over and more...I didn't do so bad, especially being in southern california where the demand is so high.
