I read elsewhere that the 7/70 powertrain warranty is getting cut back to 3/36 on all 2006 model year DC vehicles. Did you hear any different?

Also, saw on a magnum forum that someone said they have hook for the gas cap now.

I am also wondering if the Power folding mirrors will be standard on the SRT 8. Per the spec sheet I have it is. Just like the european models get.

You might be able to add the system if you haven't been in "D" very long.

Here's one picture, from a Charger:

It looks as though it has been incorporated into the trunk liner, per Chrysler: "For the 2006 model year, we are adding deck lid pull-down cups to the trunk liner to make it easier to close the trunk, and to avoid getting your hands dirty from the exterior of the trunk lid. The pull-down cups will also minimize smudging of the exterior trunk surface."

The pull-down cup is an excellent minor fix. I have few complaints with my 300C, but the smudges from having to put my hand on the trunk lid to close it is one of them. Inevitably, a ring or wris****ch edge is gonna scratch it.

I'd also like to see a locked gas cap with an inside release.

The Rear Seat Entertainment System will be available from Mopar in mid June. This will be a simple conversing for 2006 model upgrades. 2005 models will require a wire harness tie in to the Can-Bus for operation. This will add a bit more time for installation.
