cabin air filter

I went to my local dealer yesterday looking for a new cabin air filter they wanted $38 for it, i said "no thanks"

went to Autozone, there is none in the typical filter books
you find there?

whats a good price and on line source

a assume you are talking about the filter itself, and not the assembly.

the NAPA part number is 4909, i think they run 12.99.

visit FleetFilter.com and you can get them for $7.

the Purolator part number is #C35677, don't know the price.

never pay $38.

Depending on if you have the Luxury Package II on your 300C, you might require a different filter which is more expensive. That package has a more advanced air filtration system.

good info. i wasn't aware of a more advanced system. i did not have one in my car so added one last week. i have noticed a difference in odors and dust.

I believe there is only one type of cabin air filter for these cars. I installed one last spring in my Touring.

IMO there is nothing special about it. Its a plain paper filter. Is does reduce dust, but does nothing to reduce smells.

Its nothing like an "in cabin" filter you find on other high end cars. Like my previous Lincolns and Aurora.
