Recent Body Work

Got some recent body work but it didnt turn out as nice as I expected it to...

Index of /300

Some old lady decides that turning at 5mph onto my lane when i'm 10yards away is appropriate.

OUCH! You have such a beautiful IR 300c that I hate to see that front end damage. I'm not sure I see what is wrong with the body work you had.

2 days ago I put a $50 Sweet Chrysler emblem on my grille, and after the accident it was stuck on her trunk.

Okay, I got your j/k! What's more humorous is what you quoted above! What model was her car before you converted it to a Chrysler?

In the begging I was so mad about my car that I didn't even pay attention to her. I wanted to like murder whoever was in that car. Then I realize its a 50ish year old lady looking like she was about to be found guilty of genocide in her lincoln ls.

What's funny is that she didn't want cops involved and I didn't either because rear-ending is a given ticket. I left in my friend's car, I come back like 1 minute later to get my insurance papers, shes talking to a cop. Now i got 3 pending tickets, 2 speeding and this one failing to stop in the given distance... Real smart of me. DAMN IT.

short story...

back in 1994 I was driving my gorgeous 71 chevy shortbed Pickup toward a stop sign. Caddy in front of me ...DRIVING THRU THE STOP SIGN and turning right. I look to the left while approaching the stop sign...SHE DROVE OFF RIGHT..NO she put it in reverse FOR SOME UNKNOWN REASON. my friend in the truck with me yells "DUDE" i turn to look and hit the brakes...i bump this OLD LADY in a caddy.....just a tap. Oh sure, it wrinkled my chrome bumber that i just had put on the day before.

long story short...i get the ticket...my insurence goes up. With NO OTHER traffic around...why is she reversing...well i wondered but...the cop says ...you get the ticket for failure to control speed. whatever...well i get a call a couple of months later from a detective and it turns out that she had done the same thing 2 other times and one of the other VICTIMS decided to look into it. well, my insurance went back down...ticket was dismissed and i got a small check for ...some damages (i dunno what kinda punitive or something). OH and she had to pay for my my bumper.

I only tell this story because...hopefully you will be found to NOT BE AT FAULT.

Good luck.
