Anyone else having probs with Diablo and limp mode???

So I really like my predator, but WAY to often when I gun it and the revs go up in the 6000 range it just cuts out and goes into what I think is "limp mode". Then I have to coast somewhere safe off to the side of the rode, shut my car off and then turn it on before I can drive again. Its such a pain in the butt! It has probably happened about 6 times since I've had the predator. I just dont understand what is going on???? btw I have a late model 2005 300c.

I really like the ESP off with the diablo, but found out that makes mine go into limp mode if I make a u-turn or another sharp turn like pulling out of a low driveway.

even if you have not raised the shift points, be sure to raise the rev limiter.

Right, you have to raise the rev limiter. Kick it up 300-400rpm.

I had the same problem when i missed a gear change or was doing a burnout. I have the Autostick hold gear option enabled and when i raised the rev limiter to 6800 and higher shift points the car would always go into limp mode when it got anywhere near the limiter. Went back to the stock 6400 redline and havent had a problem since.

Never once had that problem when i had the rev limit set to 6800 and higher shift points with the transmission Auto-upshifting...only when transmission was set to hold the gears.
