The final line at the Brampton (Ontario) Assembly Plant was transformed into a movie set on Saturday night for the shooting of a Chrysler Canada commercial that is expected to air on Canadian television Jan. 7. With almost 60 employees from Chrysler Canada marketing and BBDO, the advertising agency of the corporation, the area was a hive of activity as the final line was transformed for the camera work of a 30-second commercial. The ad features a Chrysler 300C, Dodge Caravan, Dodge Ram, Jeep Liberty and Jeep Grand Cherokee—all simulated as rolling off the final line at Brampton. The ad highlights the new Canada pricing for the company’s vehicles, relative to the strength of the Canadian dollar.
