car is acting strange.. need some help over here

i really need some help over here.. i got the 05 5.7 hemi it runs smooth but its been acting kind of funny lately. the sunroof wont close completely whenever the AC is on... also the remote on the key doesnt work anymore.. i can't lock & unlock the car without actually putting the key into the keyhole. if i do so, it'll unlock but the alarm system will come on, if i try to lock the car i can only lock the drivers door, the others will remain open.

i really need some help with this one, because i really think i'm doing something wrong because it all worked like a charm 2 days ago.

anyone?

There are a few sunroof TSB's around. Here's one you can read that gives you instructions on how to recalibrate the sunroof - http://www.wkjeeps.com/misc/LX/TSB/TSB_2302805a.pdf. Give that a try first. If that doesn't work you may have to get it looked at. Can't say I've heard of the AC involvement though, although you may have a problem with your alternator.

There have been several problems with the key fob, some very recently. Open it up and check to see if the solder connection has been broken. Are you getting any messages in the EVIC?

Keep us updated too!

thanks for your reply bernie... i ain't getting any codes in the evic.. it's pretty weird because everything was working like its supposed to a couple of days ago. it basically happend over night.

i don't know about the alternator, but it only seems to close completely when the AC is off.

i dont think the key is broken either, because everything was working fine the day before. and i didnt drop it either.

did you check the battery? It may just need to be replaced.

Ya know, I was just going to post that. They say the battery life is 5 years, but they've been known to go sooner.

Also might want to try the other key. Just for the record, the solder connection is known to fail without dropping it. Apparently it's a poor design or something. There's a member who's offering to repair these things, but I don't recall his name.

These are just starting points you can try, but it may eventually require a visit to the dealer.
