Is it me or is the roof line to low?

I agree with poster. The roof line is low. The rear view mirror is too far away. The driver side A-Pillar has a huge blind spot. The side rear view mirrors obstruct view because they are high. But I still love it.

I couldn't agree more with the "Light in Sight" item. This little light refractor is just terrific. I have one in my PT Cruiser and my Crossfire. Regardless of your roofline, you can always see the traffic light. Get one.

It was the chopped look that definitely attracted me to the 300 when I first saw a magazine ad. about its future arrival. I just had to have this car even though it was very difficult to get one as many of us experienced in 2004.

I would not change a thing. Everyone who owns a 300 quickly learns where all the blind spots are and learns to quickly adapt. Like many, I also can't see the traffic signal while up in front of the line. I simply look up through my sunroof to see the traffic light. I suppose I could also get what GTL mentioned if I felt I really needed it.

I hope Chrysler doesn't change the style created by Ralph Gilles that so many of us endear. I'm sure Magnum owners probably feel the same way.

I do have an issue with limited visibility at the roofline. I'm only 6'0". I have to sit forward at most intersections in the city. Suburbs is easier (roads aren't as tight, drivers aren't as big a**holes).

And yes, I've moved the seat down.

My father had a gadget like that on his 1952 Plymouth. It was magnetic and stuck to the metal trim between the window and headliner. The roof was high (above the floor), the seat was high (above the floor), he was short, the seat was at full forward so he could reach the pedals and see out the windshield.

Yes the roofline is low, and if I'm the first car at a light I must lean forward to see the light. So? It's a compromise I'm more than willing to make to drive the 300C. I can always drive my Accord if I want to see traffic lights without leaning forward .

I purchased the "light in sight" mentioned several times and personally found it utterly and totally useless. I guess it would work ok if the light were always directly above, but many times they are off to the side and I still ended up craning my neck to see the light. I ended up throwing mine away.
