300N Details leaked...

In a stunning turn of events, today Chrysler unveiled plans for the successor to the famous Chrysler 300C, the Chrysler 300N. "Fuel efficiency is our primary concern," stated Chrysler CEO Robert Nardelli, "and we've had so many complaints about the tacky looking 300C that we decided a total overhaul was necessary."

While the 300N is still in the early prototyping stage, early plans suggest that it will be based on a stretched version of the Chrysler Sebring platform, and will be available with a 4.0L V6.

"I believe with a hybrid, the new Chrysler 300N Crossover will be a hit," said Ralph Gilles, renowned Chrysler employee credited for designing the 300c, "and best of all, nobody will know it's a Chrysler, we even put a split grille on the front!"

Nardelli also announced plans to sell Dodge Ram pickups at Home Depots, but at the time no further information is available.

Question "tacky looking 300C" . . . . WTF is that ?

"tacky looking 300C" . . . What the H is that ? That sounds like a comment from a Ford, GM, BMW, Benz, owner ! Oh, well, to each his own. I love the car, the "LOOK", the feel, AND "THE POWER" ! That 300N prototype looks okay, but the only way I'd be interested in it is to drop a 452 HP HEMI V-8 in it. I am in it for the fun of it at this stage of my life. SCREW "fuel efficiency", I want "THE POWER".

I heard the next 300 was going to be a 600 lb. 2 door sub-compact with one wheel drive.

Is my source suspect???
