without a programmer (Superchips flashpaq or Diablo Predator) the 'autostick' feature on the 300C is utterly useless. With my flashpaq it's a lot of fun and works like it should.

I downshift with the AutoStick all the time, for either retardation on downgrades, or for a quicker/more assured downshift for more rapid acceleration.
I don't bother upshifting with the AutoStick, even with the Diablo Predator tune, just let it go with the raised shift points.
