I'm pretty interested also. I have a 2005 I bought new in 5/04 and it has 50K miles on it. In great shape but getting the itch again. owe very little on it. The Pontiac G8 GT doesn't cut it for me. Looked at a used SRT8, but decided not to. Very interested in the next gen or whatever 300C. I read alot about cars and basically have seen no info on what and when. Assume it will get the new V8 of 370 HP that the challanger and Charger will get but do not hear much. I like the V8 power and speed but do not need a super car. Also the cylinder deactivation makes me feel better on the gas situation. When I was at the NY Auto show in 3/08 I asked the folks there how come most have their next gen cars there but the 300 was status quo. They said you'll see something at next years show.

I wish I could say i was eagerly awaiting the 2009 Challenger - - not to replace my 300C but in addition to. But right now the Challenger is not in the budget, maybe it will be in a couple years and I can buy one for half its original price!

The higher hp 5.7 with variable valve timing would be cool, but my '05 "C" has plenty of power and only 10,500 miles on her. She still looks brand new without a single 'door ding' or scratch, so no reason to replace for at least 10 years.

I'm thinking of getting one nearer the end of year.

Depends on if I'll be able to afford it by then. I want to get an AWD like I had originally wanted, but was unable at the time. Unfortunately, I won't be able to get the Magnesium Pearl anymore.

My current one has a lot of options, but if I do go for a 2009, I'm probably gonna load it up completely.

I plan on getting an 2009 300C and a 2009 Dodge Ram 1500 mega cab. My 98 ram gets 11 mpg. I am looking forward to the 2nd gen 5.7 and interior upgrades.

I am definitely looking to buy a 2009 300C unless of course they screw up the styling. I wanted to buy a 2008 but just could not stand the antenna and the rear spoiler.....

Don't expect much better mileage from a new Ram; my '07 QuadCab 4x4 hemi only gets +/- 12 mpg in town. It's not bad on the highway though, around 18.

Picked up a 07C last day of October 2007 because I preferred it over that fishhook on the 08's. Love this car, but with the improved Hemi having 40 more horses and more effective MDS I will probably buy another Hemi in 2011 if that is to be the last year for this engine. If they stop making the Hemi before then, I will buy another Hemi and keep my 07C as I like it so well. Hemi's spoil a person.

09 300c

Well my lease ends in July 09 , I have read one review of the new pontiac g8- gxp coming out with the C6 corvette engine (403)hp / torque . So far the car clocked a flat 13.0 second 1/4 mile and can be ordered with a tremec -6060 manual transmission . I will certainly be interested test driving this beast when it's out in 09 . The challanger looks the part for me personally but it's a pig in weight (4185 lbs). This means at least more horsepower than an 6.1 to reach a 13.0 1/4 mile . Possibly the new 6.4 hemi will be an option , but gas mileage will reach hummer H2 MPG !
