How many people in car, how much do they weigh? I mean, if you are 250 lbs, and have a 200 lb passenger, and have 18 gallons of gas on board (130 lbs more) then you are pulling 580 lbs. Compare this to a 150 lb guy alone in the car with empty tank... the 430 lb difference is HUGE in terms of time. Severals 10ths at least. Also air temp and humidity are huge factors. You could easily lose 3/10th with a 40 degree 40% humidity diff.

Checked the EVIC and my record time is 5.68 and it was probably 50 degrees that day at 3200ft above sea level.

The SRT Design model theoretically should be faster than a regular C as it has a "performance exhaust system" worth an extra 10 horsepower (350 hp), but I would expect the difference to be negligible in the 0-60 test. More important to performance is altitude and air temperature (the cooler and closer to sea level, the better) and how well you're able to hook up. These hemis are plenty torquey and capable of melting some rubber, which is great for producing skunky blue clouds, but not so great for low e.t.

I was consistantly running between 5.5 to 5.8 with a predator and CAI. However, lately I running around 6.0. I don't know why I lost the 1/2 second!!!!! It's driving me nuts! I feel some some power has been lost via my butt dynometer. I am getting near the magic 30k miles and have just ordred NGK iridiums--just to see if they will help at all. I will be adding Corsa's for christmas. Anyone have any ideas on why some of my 300C's mojo has been lost???

srt -design

Does the srt-design 300 have the 3:06 rear end like the SRT-8 ? I believe the stock 300c's have 2:85 rear end .

Chrysler.com says 2.82 for SRTd, which is the same as regular C. SRT8 is 3.06.

I did it once with the evic timer. 5.69sec. AWD hooks up instantly. I wish the digital speedo worked in the '08's. Kind of stupid to deliberately disable it?
