Hmmm... I need to practice

I tried a few times and the best I could get 6.84 and most of the time in the range 6.94 - 7.10.

How do you launch? I was getting a feeling gears are not switching well enough if I just floor it. I think the best time I got when I pushed it, then let it up a bit and then pushed again to floor. I tried AutoStick, but I am not fast enough and loose it.

I have an 07 C AWD. The best I have done not using the evic was about 6.0 sec. But more recently the best I could get was about 6.7 sec. Same location, no special launch techniqe, AWD is simple. Don't know why the descrepancy, but the 6.7 seems to stick with mine.

That's a huge difference! Why?

I thought SRT Design should be somewhat better than regular C which has the official number of 6.3 seconds. However, I recall people claiming better numbers than 6.3 even on regular C and I cannot get even the official number.

One thing for sure is that the bigger wheels on my SRT design help out A LOT. It launches waaaaaay better than my old '05 C.....sticks much more to the road.

That seems REALLY high........try brake torque'n it a little bit, but not so much that you'll get much (if any) wheel spin and then just mash it to the floor! Even when I have a crappy launch with some spin it still almost always registers high 5 seconds.

I also noticed better dynamics and handling in general in comparison to '06 C.

If you search the performance mod section, you will find that most stock 300C's are between 5.4-5.8 second cars. If you are running over 6, most likely your launch needs work.
