Side view mirror dipping issue with reverse.

When I put my car in reverse both side view mirrors dip, a feature I like when close to curbs. The issue is the passenger side mirror doesnt always return to the "home" position. The drivers side always works perfectly but the passenger side only works perfectly about 50% of the time.

Anybody have a fix for this? I might just buy a new passenger side mirror but I would be pissed if the issue isnt in the mirror itself.

I read a post a long time ago about someone having the same problem with the passenger mirror. Try a forum search and maybe you'll get lucky.
