Agreed! Besides, the "sleeper" effect of the 300 SRT is unreal! Most people have no clue, and assume that it's likely another V6 to beat up on...

Plus with the 22in tires you lose some performance. Go to a Dyno shop and do pulls with and without the 22's and see the difference.

The Power to Weight ratio is greater in the SS vs. our cars, so don't feel bad.

My 89 Porsche Turbo runs 12.5 1/4 miles out of the box, and has less h.p. than my 300C (and some turbo lag to boot!), but it also only weighs about 1400 lbs vs the 3K+ of the "C". I'd cross the line ahead of any LX car due to p-w ratio alone.

You could always mod your car, or trade it in for a LS1 equipped car if it means that much to you.

Good for you!
But I think it's worth comparing apples to apples. Any LX out of the box wouldn't stand a chance. Your modded ride, being n/a, doesn't have turbo lag and there is no replacement for displacement for putting out gobs of torque. But there is more to racing than 1/4 miles. Out on a track in a real race, there is no question a Porsche with a halfway good driver would be far ahead of our sedans.

i raced him from a roll a few times. i don't think he had any lag. iwas only making a point of a modded 300c against a modded T/A. is similar to a stock 300c against a stock camaro. just proud of my kill. sorry for the confusion.

Do you know what a STOCK SS runs compared to a STOCK 300C? If you beat an SS by a car length he had to have let off or maybe he wasn't even racing you to begin with. It's not hype, it's facts and the numbers don't lie.

Did you mean kilos? I've had several different models and even a race prepped 914-6 weighed more than that!!!!!
