2005 Chrysler 300
Best Overall Value - Large

Signalling a renaissance at Chrysler, the striking, full-size 300 has been turning heads since its mid-2004 launch. Following the strategy blueprinted with the Crossfire, the 300 was developed using significant chassis engineering and driveline and vehicle stability componentry from the Mercedes-Benz E-Class sedan. The result is the new LX platform, shared with the Dodge Magnum and Charger. Its long, 120-inch wheelbase enables a massive interior, and its chassis pedigree delivers enticing road manners. Four powertrains are offered: 2.7-liter/190-horse V-6, 3.5-liter/250-horse V-6, 5.7-liter/340-horse V-8, and 6.1-liter/425-horse V-8. A desirable package with the 3.5L, the 300 shines brightest with the Hemi V-8. A new Multi-Displacement System (MDS) deactivates cylinders in the Hemi engine when they're not needed, enhancing fuel economy from this thrilling powerplant. The five-place interior boasts 106.6 cubic feet of total space, providing each passenger with generous leg, head, and shoulder room. Even the base model packs standard air conditioning, keyless entry, tilt/telescope steering wheel, eight-way driver's seat, CD-fitted stereo, and power amenities. The options list features such niceties as dual-zone auto climate control, MP3-playback, Bluetooth connectivity, Bose Acoustics stereo, Sirius satellite radio, navigation system, and tortoise-shell trim. An instant classic, the 300 delivers more styling, performance, and value than anything else in its class.

Not another award, Zilla.

I've run out of door panel room to keep puttin' them on the side of my car.

Wait . . . don't we have a thread somewhere with all the previous awards?

Nurse??? . . . oh, nurse Linda - look what Zilla snagged!
