I understand that but im not turning and mashing the gas. In a straight line from a stop, it will spin and swing a little side to side until it bites and goes. If only one wheel was spinning, it would keep the straight line and just spin the right rear. It would also leave only 1 black line instead of 2...

And its fun making a front wheel drive car fish tail. That handbrake can be so much fun! lol

high speed turn (80 - 90 mph) in the rain.....

trust me the ass end will kick out all on it's own..

the trick is to maintain control, which is damn hard because turning into the skid like a RWD causes complete loss of control... but it can be done..

I only cracked 2 rims learning how to do it...

mine was the newer (last) body style, Car and Driver car of the year etc, etc..

when I got it I was young and it was the only "sports" car I could afford the insurance on.. LOL 164hp 2.5L V-6 FWD..

it looked great.. I had an awesome sound system, and paint job, etc and it was great for the first 64,000 mile until the engine blew up from a factory defect..

I had a 7/70 service contract and they replaced my motor, but then the car had nothing but problems after that.. alternator, power steering, gearbox, so after 3 years the car was crap..

traded it for a Z71 Silverado pickup..

funny thing is that I have seen it 4 times since I traded it.. once on a dealer lot (the dealer that got it from the auction lot the Chevy dealer sold it to) and then 3 times since with 2 different owners..

still rocking my custom paint, and last time I saw it on it's 4th owner it was close to 300K and on it's 5th motor..

bleh..

esp is to ensure vehicle stability as the name says. it is meant to keep vehicle on the road even if it cuts into performance and thrill.
it is not anti-slip or traction control system.

ESP is indeed "traction control" it's purpose is not only to invoke under or over steer to correct course, but also to aid in traction on split threshold surfaces.
