PLM Rob - Navus and DVD rear seat information

Navus navigation is now shipping to dealers. The response to this new system has been outstanding. Mopar has gained valuable press space in many magazines and I even spent some time on MRN radio prior to a Nextel Cup race.

The 300/300C receiver module part number is 82209538 (suggested retail price $869). You will be required to select one of 17 regional 256 MB Compact Flash map data cards containing detailed street level mapping (Included in $869 unit cost/suggested retail price of card =$145). A national 2GB map data card is also available ($299). The national card can be substituted in place of the regional card for an additional $154 (pn 05175016AA)

DVD PNs are available:

Chrysler 300 erar seat DVD entertainment system:
82209382 - Med. Slate Interior DVD console unit $1,195
82209383 - Sea Mist Green DVD console unit $1,195

How detailed is the national card? Simple math of 17 x 256 MB = 4.3 KB indicates the national card doesn't have the same info as the sum of the individuals.....of course, this is assuming a number of things, most obvious is that the 256 MB cards are fully utilized and there is limited overlapping.
