Would really like to replace my seats with either heritage or srt seats...mainly for the side bolsters on the fronts....
What would be the best way to go about this? Order them from the dealer, search ebay incessantly for them? Or is it possible to say, order the cushions and leather and keep my seat frames? Would love to do the the front seats but if needed for matching Im open to replacing the rear as well.
Any suggestions on how to go about this would be appreciated.
you should keep your seat frames as the memory seat module and the OCS system is VIN coded to your car and those modules are attached to the seats.
dealer cost for the foams and seat covers will run you around $5000
Katskins has the whole interior, skins, foams, front/rear for around $1500 - $1800 (basically Katskins covers and OEM foam to make your own SRT style seat.
Ebay has the seats now and again for $900 - $1800 depending on the year and model of the car.
the covers are of different materials depending on the vehicle, but any LX (magnum, charger, 300) seats will fit the front if you are swapping the cushions and keeping your frames, the Magnums won't fit the rear, but Charger and 300 Front and Rear are the same (I have Charger Daytona RT seats in mine which are the SRT style with suede seating areas)
Honestly Im looking for the most cost effective way to add the side bolsters that both the srt and heritage seats add. Goofy I appreciate your opinion on the HE seats over the SRT, and I will be looking to go that way over SRT. That being said, when I make this mod it will be whichever is most cost effective
I really don't care for the side bolsters. I guess they just hit me funny idk.

My dad and I drove his SRT8 to San Diego last April, and I found that after about an hour of driving the bolsters on the seat cushion (bottom part) really started to bother me. I had no problem with the bolsters on the backrest but the ones on the cushion don't allow for any change of position. They are awesome for holding you in place for spirited driving on a curvy road, but for a long distance road trip I find the seats in my 300C much more comfortable.
