Hey guys,
I'm wondering what everyone knows about the engine oil pressure sensor code P0520. It's thrown my check engine light and I don't have the oil pressure on evic. How long can I go without replacing the sensor. Is this an 'immediate must fix' bc money's a bit tight with christmas.
Thanks in advance.

I've had that code for a good 3 months, but i think i'm finally going to change it this weekend. i called around trying to find out how much it might cost to fix, and i got between $160 to $280. From what others have said, its not hard to change, so i'll just do it myself. Part is only 50 bucks.
It cant be that serious if its just the sensor that's bad i don't think

?

since the sensor does nothing but report to the PCM all you got is an annoyance.

Almost no risk to driving it. How many cars have oil pump failures anymore?

Not many.
