Trunk Handles

I know this has been talked about a few times but I never saw anyone post a picture of the inside of the trunk lid. I always wondered why everyone wanted to install some sort of pull down until I noticed that the C has a liner. In my Touring, the trunk lid is bare, so there are holes perfect for closing the trunk. I'm guessing this liner is another thing left out to cut costs?

My god....The bean counters strike again. First no cargo net, then no trunk deck lining.

WTF??

On the subject of trunk handles, and this goes for any version, I've found it terribly easy to just put a few fingers on the latch housing and push downward. And by the time your hands come off the trunk has enough momentum to close. Way easier than a pull or a handle on the inside, and FREE!

I don't know what you or your dealer is doing to your car, but I don't have a spot of grease on my hands.

I totally agree....not having pull handles on a car like these is just friken ridicules. My old Durango had them for Gods sake.

I must have gotten a early 06 because it doesn't have them DCX

I ordered a handle, then I couldn't find a good place to mount it.

Therefore, I just left it stock. No handle.

Less mess. I wasted 18 bucks, but oh well.

Anybody need a handle...?

It's the one from Wyckoff. (Black leather w/mounting screw).

Here are some pics others have posted.
Maybe these will give you some ideas. The last pic with the grab handle is my car. I really like having a grab handle. Not having a handle/strap is really annoying.
