Mirror wont go down in reverse?????

Okay so I look in mirror and notice its very high on my drivers side. I put the car in reverse and the mirror go a little bit down and then stops. When I put the car pack in drive the mirror goes all the way back up???? I tried putting the mirror down in park and it wont go unless I keep pushing it down...... Is there maybe a fuse for it, or is it the gears?

My '08C has this issue occasionally. What I do is use the mirror control on the drivers door arm-rest to put the mirror to all its limits in all four directions. Then set it to where it will be when I'm driving. Then, re-save your driver settings, using the save buttons on the driver's door.

That usually resolves my issue.

The memory functions sometimes seem to randomly "forget" certain parameters like the mirror settings.

Check your owners manual.
Go to your personal settings on your EVIC screen.
There you can turn on or off the setting that makes the mirrors
tilt downward when shifting the car to reverse.
I really don't know why that feature is there. I turned mine off
so that it stays where it is set at.
