Hey guys thanks again, with all your help i get to learn and do more hands on stuff with my car it is much appreciated. I was going to do an oil change this weekend and was wondering how many Litres (I live in Canada) does the 2005 Chrysler 300 3.5L V6 take? I purchased the K&N Performance filter is there a difference from fram or other oil filters? What oil do you recommend? Is Royal Purple worth the money? Thank you very much guys in advance.
IMO, synthetics don't provide much benefit unless you go whole-hog - ALL the fluids. For a guess, I'd say five liters. The O/M will show you exactly how much it holds. There will be people on here and other forums who will trash Fram filters, but I've never had a problem with them. Used 'em for years. I use K&N now, mostly for that 1" nut.
i just did the oil change on my 3.5l 300 and used 6 quarts of mobil 1 oil and it is still sort of empty after i checked the level...it is not leaking any where so perhaps either the bottles were not completely filled?
