MIRT - Turns Red Lights Green

http://www.themirt.com/

OK I started a new thread. MIRT is illegal in some states.

You can build one yourself.

It turns red lights green. My wife uses hers a few times a week.

Using one of these for purposes other than intended not only royally f*cks up traffic, but I will personally drag someone out of their vehicle and spank them if I ever see them using one for personal gain ie. switching lights for fun.

I hope your wife has a legitimate reason...

Heading to the emergency room to bring back a lost soul trying to kill themselves or having clogged their arteries, or weakend their lungs with a life of disregard. I hope this qualifies.

I was asked to start a new thread on this topic. It went from D to D1 w/ a ship date of aug 8th. Now I hope not to battle with the GGT waiver.

Yikes, you guys, is it me or has this thread gotten a tad 'sharp' right out of the box!

I agree that if lots of people had these things, the morning commute could be a bit more messed up than usual.

I'm also a member of a family with physicians, nurses, and a PA....oh and me a veterinarian at a huge practice in Tampa who has done his share of 2am emergency runs in for traumas, etc. Something like this would have been amazing back in my emergengy on call days.

Anyway, it's just a topic for discussion. Still, pretty kewl though eh?

Man you nailed that one. I thought it was just me. Nothing sucks more than waiting at a red light when you have to report STAT to the hospital. My Wife is on ER call 1 in 7. She has at least 1 OD or Stroke a week. There are 5 lights in town she can trigger. But georgia just apporved for jan 1 2006 Physician plates. The governor says they are to assure physicians are not pulled over when responding to an emergency. MIRT is a cool device , however more locations are adding encryption.

But thank you 300Sea for your support.
