Headlights too bright??

so recently at night on the way home i've been getting MANY people flashing their brights at me thinking I had mine on. although annoying i never thought it that bad until last night on a pretty sharp turn someone blinded me with theirs and i almost ran off the road. i skid off out of the lane luckily into the turn lane by my neighborhood but is anyone else having issues with this? I love the look of these HID's, no doubt. but any reccomendations for a remedy? and no im not trading my C headlights for your 300's :-p

I get that once in a while, especially on a right angle turn when the head lights are angled towards oncoming traffic. It's sporadic. They seem to be lined up right, which is all I could think of to check. I tend to drive with them on high when I can on two lane roads, kicking them down as other lights approach. I've never been flashed under those circumstances. I think it's just the nature of HID's.

brights

I have factory HIds but when I turn on the brights, they are yellowish lights.. Is this how your cars are configured? Mine is a stock 300 C , 2006.

I have an '05, my brights are the same bluish/white as the regular lights. (?) Did they change something in '06?

My 05 high beam is white but not HID, I replaced them with Silver stars, I have factory HID low beams. here is a comparison of the non-HID stock high vs the Silver star.
You should have your aim checked, I never get flashed and I drive a lot of two lane roads.

Yes, I have a lot of people flash me when my factory HID's are on low. I was wondering if they were aimed to high?

My lowbeams look almost purple, and they're facory. I have the HID's and I get flashed all the time. They are not aimed to high, they are just really bright!

I drive at lot at night and get flashed once or twice a month. Because of this I ran a little test, I switched cars with a friend and had him follow me (with him driving my car).......when I was at a lower elevation, I can see how someone would think the brights are on.......even when at the same elevation, those factory HIDs are bright....after that little test, I am surprised I don't get flashed more often.

That blue/purple white is normal, my X5 had it, my buddy's Acura has it too, most HID I come across are this color.
