Need double DIN silver bezel for 2010 300

Hello all,
I want to upgrade my 300 Touring audio system to a double DIN Nav receiver but I don't want to modify the existing bezel. It looks like I will need to replace a bezel with taller opening and also buy one of those kits that fills in the spaces on each side of the receiver. I've been searching online for an aftermarket silver double DIN silver bezel but so far no luck. If anyone knows where to find one that fits a 2010, I would appreciate it.
thanks,
Jazzman

Is this what you're looking for? Part # is 1LR68XZAAA

I have one. I don't know if I want to part with it, as I have a project in mind. I originally bought it to retrofit a MyGig RER nav unit in my 07 CSRT. Ironically, that car was totaled/t-boned the morning before I was going to do the swap.

My replacement car is an 08 CSRT, which has the MyGig. I swapped it out for the MyGig I had bought previous to the accident, as it was out of a 2010, and has the Ipod controller built-in.

I'm one of those people who like to be able to reverse any mods that I do to my car, in the event that I sell it. In this case, I wanted to customize the bezel's cosmetic appearance, but have an OEM one on hand just in case.

This bezel (JUST the bezel-no vents, climate controls, clock ect) here in Canada ridiculously retails for $321.00 dealer price. In the US it retails for 220.00 dealer price. I "may" be willing to part with it for $200 USD plus shipping. It would include vents, ESP button, Clock and premium climate controls in Fahrenheit. You could sell off the add-ons and make your money back. Give me till next Monday to mull it over, if you're interested. I won't promise anything though. Just a feeler for now.

EDIT: I will post an actual picture tomorrow of what I have.

The situation gets curiouser and curiouser:
I just found this new silver Nav bezel on Ebay that specifically fits 08', 09' and 2010 Chrysler 300's.

I was thinking a Chrysler 300 Nav bezel opening would match the standard double DIN height but apparenly it doesn't quite make it-- as the one I found on Ebay specifies the opening height as 3 7/8" (98.425mm). According to Wikapedia, the standard double DIN dimensions are 180mm x 100mm; which would equate to 3.937 inches opening height. Close, but no cigar (aaaaaarrrhhIhh!!!) Now, why wouldn't Chrysler use the standard double DIN dimensions?

Here's the kicker: I don't have the Nav Receiver in my 2010 300, but my dash bezel opening is the same 3 7/8" height as advertised for the Nav bezel on Ebay-- so, apparently the 2010 300's use the same bezel for both the standard and Nav radio installations.

I'm wanting to install an after market JVC KW-NT30HDT Nav Reciever in the car, which is advertized as double DIN size. Assuming the JVC receiver is exactly double DIN dimensions, then it won't fit without modifying the bezel opening.

I'm trying to find out now the exact dimensions of the JVC receiver and go from there.
The bottom line might be that there are no Mopar bezels that will fit an after-market double DIN receiver; in which case I would have to mod the bezel anyway. At least I wouldn't have to increase the opening size more than an 1/8 and I could always buy another stock bezel if I ever wanted to put the stock radio back in (which I might do if I trade the car in down the road).

BTW: If anyone has the JVC Nav receiver, I would like to know it's exact width and height.

thanks all!
Jazzman

You can "possibly" use an 05-07 NAV REC bezel. It has a larger opening. However, it is larger than a double din. I believe there are double din adapter plates that would fit within. See here:

I have one of these as well. The clips may need to be modified. The bottom end is very slightly tapered on the corners, as the consoles in 05 07 had a slightly different shape. I can probably test fit in my 08 to see how it fits, and I'll post back. Give me a day or two.

BTW.

You should test fit your JVC radio into the dash before you do anything else.

I just got a black bezel off ebay genuine Mopar with the bracket the double din goes in and the wiring and adapter for $59 they had the silver ones on ebay for $69 but just the bezel. I have a silver navi bezel for a 2008 I think that i had to modify that I bought for $200 but it's missing one of the clips in the middle I may be able to part with next week when I get my new one installed next thursday.

I haven't bought one yet. I like the JVC because it has a detachable faceplate for theft deterrence. But if it's that tall, (4 5/8') then I don't see any way it can fit, as there isn't that much meat on the bezel that can be removed.

I think I will go next week to a local install shop, look around, measure some head units and see what I can come up with.

Jazzerman the install shops have face plates to retrofit any of the bezel openings don't even concern yourself about that and they are like $20. Just a note install can be expensive I think you'll need a new wiring harness plus the steering wheel control modules if your wheel has controls and you want to keep them. I know I had to get all that.

I'm talking about radio fitment within the dash. In the 08 and later LXs there is just enough room for a factory RER MyGig. If the JVC receiver is a full double DIN you might have issues.

05-07 LXs have a larger cavity to fit the older REC Nav.
