Proud new owner.......

I've actually been lurking the board for a couple of weeks.
We finally got our fully loaded SilverC last Tuesday.
What a conversation piece this car is. People constantly stop and
ask us about it. The car is just flat out fun.
I do wish they would have chosen a lower gear for the rear. It would
have made the 0-60 and stop light to stop light much more fun.
A nice exhaust rumble would add to the drama of the car too. (maybe
in the near future Borla, Bassini or Corsa will have something to offer.)

Did you order your car or take it from dealer inventory.
If you ordered it, what was the date you ordered it.

I lucked out. one of the local dealers that knew we were in the market, took delivery of 1 lonley 300C. We test drove one aobut 5-6 weeks ago (hind sight: I should have put my order in then) and within 2 weeks after that, every 300 coming to every dealer was spoken for.
We just got very lucky. In fact from what I was told by all of the dealerships we were in contact with, the ones that will be arriving won't have the moonroofs. (supplier shortage?!?)
We have bought quite a few new cars over the last 16 yrs. and I don't recall such a shortage of inventory.
