Self Window Tint Kits?

Well slowly paycheck by paycheck I'm modding my 300C (22" wheels up next!) out. Anyways, I'm tossing around the idea of window tinting-however I don't know how good it will look on a silver 300C. If anyone has pictures including percentages this would be appreciated!

Also, has anyone ventured to try those 'Do it yourself' window tint kits? If so, how much, how good, and were they worth it?

If anyone had it professionally done, how much did it cost them? Only so I can get a general price range to determine which local is priced the most competitively.

At any rate, lots of questions-hopefully will result in lots of answers!

I tried those DIY tint kits when I was in high school, and never again. They always end up looking like crap. Just had mine done last week, cost $155. That includes having limo put on the back 3 windows, 35% on the drivers and passenger door, and a strip across the windshield also done in limo. It looks sweet. Sorry I dont have any pics yet, been really busy.

I would never consider doing something like this as a DIY, the results would be the difference between COOL and CRAP, as GS stated. Prices vary, and you don't list your location in your profile so no one can help you with local pricing, but go for a non-metallic and you'll probably be looking in the $200-$350 range.
