Back in 2000, members of a similar forum at Edmunds on the 300M did something similar, forming a club. The founders took the approach to form an international club as a non-profit corporation with buy in from Diamler with official recognition and permission for limited use of logos and trademarks.

http://www.300mclub.org/v3about.html
http://www.300mclub.org/Documents/bylaws.pdf

The original idea of the 300M Enthusiast Club was to include future letter cars, hence this is why officially our club is the "New 300 Enthusiasts Club, Inc." (Chrysler 300M Enthusiasts Club is our assumed name in legalise) However, since the LX platform is so different from the LH platform, the majority of members have voted to not expand to include the new 300. As an owner of both cars, I was and still am disappointed with that decision. We have a wonderful group of members and a great infrastructure in place that I thought would naturally carry on to the new 300.

I mention all this with the idea or suggestion, that maybe you guys follow in our footsteps. I would be glad to become a member of such an organization.

Comments?

Your telling us that our club300 would be part of the 300M club Exceprt for the fact that the 300M guys desided to not let us in?

Most 300m owners are not overly fond of the 300c. How do I know? I read their forums for a long time before I found this forum. I read nothing but bashing comments based on jealousy and envy. I was a fan of the 300m for a long time, but I would never buy a Chrysler. The 300c made me cross that line and here I am.

I unfortunately do not believe the two could coexist. Not because of our inability to get along, but because of vast differences between the platform, and the general attitude toward the 300c.

Rogue is right with his assesment. I have only perused the 300M site a few times, but after going there tonight and seeing the thread regarding including 300C owners, all I can say is WOW, they really don't like the new models. http://www.300mclub.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=42

That is unfortunate as the site and community there appear to be well established and well managed. I can see their point though since the new 300's have the spotlight.

ouch

Well thats a shame. It would have been good for all Chrysler owners if they had open minds about a new car.

Here was my favorite quote:
"the (300)C is the good girl and the (300)M is the bad girl"

I don't think good girls drive Hemi's.... Maybe Hemee and Angie300C can enlighten us on their good or bad status?

Hubby's usual greeting for me... "Uh-oh, here comes trouble"

You are 100% correct: 'Good' girls definitely do not drive Hemi's and I assure you my 300C is not "the good girl" compared to a 300M!
