Cool 2007 Columbus, OH - Mopar Nationals

***IT'S MOPAR NATIONALS TIME!!!***

Who is going??? Would be very cool if we can all meet up somewhere before heading into the Nationals, then we would be able to park together as well.

What: 27th Annual Mopar Nationals
When: Friday, August 10, 2007 - Sunday, August 12, 2007
Time: Friday, Saturday, Sunday 8am-6pm
Where: National Trail Raceway, Columbus, OH
Mopar Nats Home
Mopar Nationals Information HotLine (313) 278-2240
National Trail Raceway (740) 928-5706

National Trail Raceway is about 20 miles east of Columbus Ohio on old US Highway 40, one mile north of Interstate I-70 at the Kirkersville exit.

Who :ALL Mopars and Mopar Enthusiasts

The Stuff to Know:
  • Anybody that wants to caravan out together to the Mopar Nats...
*If you plan on rolling out there with us, let me know so we don't leave without you!!!
  • Friday, 8/10, meeting @ 9am (Roger's place-5901 East Main Street, Columbus, OH, 43213) rolling out by 9:30am-10am to Nats
  • Saturday, 8/11, meeting @ 8am (Roger's place-5901 East Main Street, Columbus, OH, 43213) rolling out by 8:30am to Nats
(If you are late, we will see ya there!!! Traffic will be crazy so must leave on time.)
  • Due to the unfortunate incident in TN, the officials from Mopar Nationals are advising (unlike previous years) no burn-outs will be tolerated during the night time cruising events. Police will be enforcing this rule.
  • Brice Road Cruise, Friday, 8/10 - 7pm-11pm
*We are meeting at Hooter's on E.Main at 5:30-6pm (or earlier)
  • Mopar Super Cruise, Saturday, 8/11 - 7pm-11pm
On Saturday night August 11th, Mopar Nationals in conjunction with the town of Heath will feature a Cruise night for the participants in downtown area. Hundreds of unique Chrysler Corporation cars (Dodge, Plymouth, AMC) will ascend on Heath to cruise S.R. 79 between 30th St and Hopewell Road. Every imaginable type of car will be represented including hot rods, antiques, customs, muscle cars, and trucks
*We are meeting at BW3's in Heath at 5-5:30pm (or earlier)
  • 2007 Mopar Nationals will be featuring the Tribute to the Plymouth Belvedere, Satellite and GTX this year.
  • How much? The cost for a spectator is $20 for a one day pass, $30 for a two day and $40 for a three day pass. Car entry fees are now $65 for the Regular entry, $100 for the Race entry and $85 for the Judged Show entry. Additional weekend passes are $40 each. Parking $5 or F & G Free Lots. Note: Car entry fees change after June 30.
  • Pre-register? Mail entries will be accepted up to a July 12th post mark, anything after that will be rejected. Note higher prices after June 30th. YOU CAN ENTER YOUR VEHICLE AT THE GATE in the Regular & Race entry choices, prices will be based on car & driver;
  • What type of Car does the Mopar Nationals Car Show accept? Car entries are limited to Chrysler and AMC bodied/powered vehicles that are 1980 and older. Newer vehicles that are special editions, performance versions or modified are also welcome. Entries of “everyday rides” will be turned down and sent back. Missed the deadline if you did not send in before June 30
  • Motel Rooms on Brice Road? Motels on Brice Road have been sold out since November. BUT if your heart is set on Brice Road , call a few weeks before the event and maybe you will get lucky as someone will have a cancellation.
  • The 2007 Mopar Nationals Grand Prize is a Mopar Performance Crate Motor. Every participant or Spectator has an opportunity to win this engine. The top half of your admission ticket will serve as your entry into the drawing for this and other great door prizes at the event. The official winner of the engine will be pulled and announced at 12 Noon on Sunday, August 12, 2007 during the award ceremony. You do not need to be present to win.
  • Mopar Nationals has a "Car Club Parking Area" If your a member of a Mopar Car Club and have at least 10 members wanting to enter into the 2007 Mopar Nationals (applications must be sent in together in one mailing package), then you can park together in a reserved area on the Judged Show side of the track. Missed the deadline if you did not send in before June 30
  • Parking: Spectators can park across from the Main Gate on US-40 or the VIP Lot next to the track ($5/Day). The Main Gate parking lot is available for spectator traffic only. Take I-70 to exit 122 (RT 158), take this north to US-40 (Main Street). Take US-40 East to the Spectator Parking entrance on your right. If you want to park in the VIP Lot ($5.00 day), continue on past the track entrance until Gate A on your left. This parking Lot is closer to the Manufacturers Midway, Swap Meet and Race Pits.
