This is a thread designed to give consumers some evidence that purchasing GRIP products, whether from GRIP or from an Authorized GRIP Dealer, will be a satisfying experience.
So many people have had really bad experiences with other products. Some will show up damaged, and then there is a runaround with the shipping company and the manufacturer. Although all shipments should be examined before signing, things happen. Nothing like paying $1500-3000 for a body kit and then you can't put it on because of some nonsense that you have to go through to get the problem solved, if you can even get it solved at all.
1. Some companies have a "No Return" policy. GRIP allows you to return the product, if it is damaged in shipping, as long as it's not modified or painted in any way.
2. Some companies sell body kits on an "AS-IS" basis. GRIP protects you from defective products by a written warranty. We have not had any defective products as of the present, but if there comes a time when someone receives a defective product, we'll replace the product.
3. GRIP's Body Kits are made from OE quality materials. These materials are made to withstand the same conditions as stock. Currently, our materials include (but are not limited to) urethane, TPO plastic, ABS plastics, and stainless steel. No one should have to sacrifice quality for style. (And vice versa).
4. GRIP's Body Kits are designed to match up to all OEM attachment points. There is typically little or no modification necessary to make our products bolt up just like stock.
5. GRIP has top notch customer service, an 800 line (800.435.1197), a customer service email address (customerservice@griptuning.com), an Authorized Dealer Network, a solid logisitics and distribution center, and an engineering and design team who refuse to release a new product line into the marketplace until it is flawless.
GRIP provides a limited warranty for the following:

Defects in materials and workmanship in normal non-commercial use and under normal environmental conditions.
For How Long:
For as long as you own the vehicle.
What Will GRIP Do:
At its option, either repair or replace the defective item at no cost to you.
Accessories
What is Covered:
Defects in materials and workmanship in normal noncommercial use and under normal environmental conditions.
For How Long:
1 year from date of purchase.
What Will GRIP Do:
At its option, either repair or replace the defective item at no cost to you.
How to Get Service: For products covered by this GRIP Limited Warranty, present the Warranty at the GRIP location where you bought the product or contact GRIP Distribution at the number below.
Exclusions and Limitations: This Limited Warranty is VOID if the product is altered in any way or if it is damaged as a result of abuse, misuse, collision or operation under conditions other than normal, non-commercial operation and normal environmental conditions.
The remedies described above are the only remedies provided by GRIP. This limited warranty does not cover any incidental or consequential damages. Any warranties implied by law are limited in duration to the applicable time periods set forth above. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, and some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above exclusions or limitations may not apply to you.
Your Rights Under State Law: This limited warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.
WARNING
·Removing original equipment, adding accessories or modifying your vehicle could affect the vehicle’s safety or make it illegal to operate in some jurisdictions.
·Follow all product instructions and all instructions in your vehicle owner’s manual regarding accessories or modifications.
·Consult your state’s laws regarding operation of a vehicle with any accessories or modifications.
·GRIP is not responsible for operation of your vehicle in compliance with any law or regulation.
·Some products may be appropriate for highway use in your location and others may be appropriate for off-road or show use only. GRIP is not responsible for alteration or removal by customer of reinforcements, bumpers, turn signals, or any other safety equipment.
Liability
·GRIP shall not be liable for any damages or injury as a result of installation or use of our products.
·GRIP shall not be liable for actual cost of labor for removal and replacement, painting or repainting, shipping, freight, rental car, or any consequential, incidental or special damages that may be incurred by you or any other person.
·GRIP’s liability is limited to the original sales price of the product.
