I forgot to add. (imo) being a vendor on the boards can be a very slippery slope. Too many people being both trigger happy and, others that love to pile on after the beating starts.

One needs to really step back and let things play out before pulling the trigger. Not saying GSM is, or is not doing things all that great, but one should be careful before they hurt someone's business and business name.

Again, nice job Ron.

Incredible story with a positive ending. If a breakdown was imminent, at least Pismo Beach was a good location. It's a favorite get-a-way vacation spot for us folks in the hot, Central Valley!

Happy Motoring!

Thanks.
The overall price wasn't too bad. $5000 for parts and labor.....

Oh I fully expect the dealer to fight this. Actually they are already starting to question, but that is expected.... They are great guys there, but they don't have anything to stand on..... The S/C was never reinstalled before the troubles started. I have much documentation and Video. haha

This dealership is one of the few that really is openminded and wants to do right by it's customers. So I shall see in a few days.

Note: It is a good thing I have money set aside for this. Going in, I knew I would eventually have engine problems (It aftermarket and inevitable). Just thought it happen later than sooner. lol

Short block which includes ALL internals, new cam, oil pump, and the labor...

GSM provided new heads, intake, blower, and aftercooler...

Did you have the GS big boost kit? If so, how could any tuner recommend running 10 psi boost on a stock cast piston motor with 10.3:1 compression ratio? Nothing against GS, but you cant run very much boost on a fairly high compression motor, especially on cast pistons.
