Need some help, sorry to do this but it has gone on long enough

guys I need some help with GS, I have had an exhaust system on order since March.

Well originally the person responsible for ensuring that the order was complete did not do that and gave me a big run around. I got in touch with Loren and he has had my refund on the owner's desk for what is going on three months now. This is what I was told. I don't know how well you guys know the people at GS but I am getting tired of waiting. Loren explaid he could get me my exhaust in like a week, living in Iowa and not having a heated shop with a lift I opted for a refund so I didn't have a huge box sitting around all winter, well I guess I should have just had him get me the exhuast after a six month wait, now it is nine and I still don't have anything to show for my money. I really like thier products and would love to get some more stuff from them. I did not want to go to the forums cause I don't want people to use this agaist GS but I do want my money back. Please help.

What kind of exhaust did you order? catback? and what brand?
So far I know there is no shortage of them anywhere!

Sadly there have been mounting complaints against this vender and their treatment of customers. Waiting 9 months with nothing is inexcusable. Can you refute the charges with your credit card company or did you pay in some other method. I’m sorry this is happening to you as it definitely shouldn’t. Usually bringing things like this out in the open forces some type of resolution. Hope this happens for you. Good luck!

I ordered an exhaust system for my dakota, it was a gs design made by spintech. Spintech never got the order is what i was told. I am very busy with my race car and did not hound them because i didn't think I needed to. I don't know why it taken so long to get a refund. If nothing happens within the week I will be refuting the charges with the credit card company. The sad part is I was contemplating ording the exhaust again in the spring, well that was before a three month wait for a refund.

Ummmmmm, Who is "Loren"............ To my knowledge there is no such person named Loren that works for GS Motorsports.....

Also, I will be picking up Scott from the airport in about 2 1/2 hours.... I will make it my business to ask Scott about this.......
I will need some more info though.

Got your name, the make of the exhaust (which is not known by me)

Do you have an invoice number?

Way to help out 1bad4dr! You have to love the members on this forum. Anything past 45 days for a refund is a bit too long. For a customer to wait 3 months and not start shopping lawyers--says a lot about the customer willing to meet more than half way to resolve the issue. I hope for an optimum outcome in the favor of this customer. In fact, they should toss in a free toy or two for his patience.

Loren came from Spintech and works in the purchasing department at GS. This Loren was supposed to talk to Scott again on Wednesday and get back to me with a tracking number on the refund, emailed Loren twice since wednesday and no response. Thanks for any help you can provide.

P.S. the reason I waited so long for the exhaust system to arrive in the first place was because I knew that this was supposed to be a custom exhaust and had to be fabricated. I was trying to understand the situation, I know now that I need to start calling and bitching after about two weeks.

Way to step up 1bad4dr.

If that doesn't work cp I suggest you file a complaint with the Better Business Bearu (BBB) and send GSM an email stating that you have done so. Most of that time that will be enough to light a fire under someone's ass. If not, then they start getting the complaints they deserve. 9 months for an exhaust/refund is way too long IMO.

Refund

Don't waist anymore time with GS, just call your credit card company and you got your money credited back to your account in a couple of days.
What GS is doing is actually fraud.
