HalfShaft Info and pricing

Maybe it's time to clarify a couple of things. GSM halfshafts are not just slip-in SRT8 replacement halfshafts. They are Viper halfshafts. They are larger diameter than our shafts. The output shafts are larger diameter. You do not just recieve an upgraded replacement halfshaft, you recieve wheel hubs that have been machined to accept the larger diameter output shaft, and an adapter for input to the differential.

The word was that Mark Williams had already done straight replacement shafts awhile back, but the upgraded shafts where spinning the centers out of the wheel hubs due to their small diameter. So Scott wanted to try something else, and not wanting to try something that had been done already and not sure of the spinning out of the hubs, he came up with this setup.

So those of you that think the prices for GSM's shafts is more than other projected prices, remember, your getting more than just the halfshafts. The GSM's are available now in limited quanities. The part that needed to be sourced is now available.

The GSM halfshafts are running in 3 cars now. RedFox0099, 1bad4dr, and HalV48. No issues, no codes, they work great. The only 2 cars in the 11's at the Shindig, and with Nathan doing a 1.64 and Ron doing a 1.77 with DR's, converters, Quaifes, and GSM halfshafts, well you get the picture.

650HP -$2,295.00

1000HP -$2,795.00

I would like to explain to everyone how much R&D went in to what we are offering as our half shaft upgrade.

We have worked very close with the SRT8 Drift Car and this is were we tested products.

over a year ago we had 2 different very prominent shops make new half shafts out of the best materials, what we found out was that on the LX cars the output shaft and c/v were smaller in diamiater and now with the stronger shaft we would strip the hub's out. So we cryo'd ,hardened ect..ect ..the hubs with the same result.

We installed our 650hp half shaft conversion and we were in business, no breakage through 3 events...

We then Supercharged the SRT8 Charger drift car and now the hp was at 825 flywheel and at the first event we broke a "cage" on the c/v's.

We then installed custom made 300m cages on all the c/v's and went back out to the next event with no problems and have won and run several events since with no problems.

To Date the product is been produced in small runs and we wanted to get it out to the big guns for street/strip testing which has gone very well.

We have a limited number of sets now and we will have geared up to produce a larger run in the up coming weeks. The learning cure has been very steep on this product you can not just install a shaft.
