I think this should be delt with in public so everyone knows and can be aware of what MIGHT happen to them.
The latest problem (but not the only) was when I had to replace my shinny chrome GSM CAI. (hit a cow, more on that in the SRT section later.) The metal tube going from the filter to the trottle body was crushed (along with a WHOLE bunch of other stuff!!!) So the body shop doing the work ordered a new one, so it would be covered under the insurance. Well, GSM sends a silver tube CAI instead of the Chrome that was ordered, because the Chrome wasn't in stock! They didn't even call him to ask wheather to wait etc. So when he gets it, they tell him he has to pay frt to ship it back, but they still don't have any in stock. So finally he just ordered another one and he will send the silver one back. The Chrome kit has not arrived yet, so we'll see what they shipped. And when. This is the kind of little crap that happens with almost every order I do. The first CAI didn't have the rubber gromet for the temp sensor. 3 phone calls later and promises every time, NOTHING. finally went to parts store and found one that work. Of course I paid for it. Not a lot of money, but what a pain!!! and there were other things I just don't want to rehash.
So I'll let you know about the chrome CAI. as the world turns.......

How long ago did you order and can you please provide me with invoice numbers and real name. I have only been here for about 2 months and if you would have contacted me I could have stayed on top of this. I am sorry they screwed up your order, and to not call and confirm if sending the silver one was OK is not acceptable. I didn't mind you going public with this. But I give you my word I will stay on it for you now.

Hey Jay,
Today is Jan 10, 08. No Chrome intake. I will get the order # for Zumwalt's Garage. He called yesterday and was told they were on back order. any idea of delivery time?

The guys that was making them has moved out of state. We are negotiating with a new guy for fabricting these items. He is suppose to send some new ones in by the end of next week. Sorry for the delay but we are turning things around at GSM. Trying to get on top of are game with conducting business and quality products.
