legal drop?

Sup boys... I'm very new to this forum and am posting here to hopefully get some advice... I've had my 300c for over a year now and just finally dished out for some 22 inch Moz black solo rims and now I feel the need to drop my 300 Unfortunately i'm not really a car guy as much as I am a computer guy (IT Administrator) so please don't flame me if I no catch on k

I guess my main concern is what is legal and what is not... or is there such thing as a legal drop in the eyes of Hawaii State Recon? I've read about springs, coil overs, and air bags... I'm leaning more towards the airbag route and am currently calling around to see who is the most experienced installer on Oahu... But I guess before I do airbags I should try to find out more about the "what is legal" thing... and if its safe since I will be driving my 18 month old daughter with me here and there... so any advice would be much much appreciated... mahalo

I was recently in traffic school, in California, and asked the cop/teacher what is the lowest a car can be dropped. He said the cars fenders (or maybe rocker panel) cannot be lower than the bottom of the rim. That is damn low. So it is hard to get busted for a fix-it ticket. But he said low riders can get busted for impeding traffic because they are always slowing down too much, for railroad tracks, holes in roads, driveways, etc.

Welcome to the forums! You should post some pictures of your beautiful ride with the lovely Hawaiian backdrop! Dubster knows about these kinds of things because he is one siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiick dude. Bagging does seem to be the way to go as you can adjust it to your hearts desire.
