LX News Alert: HHP Gets Electrofied!!!

Hey everyone!

When we open up our much larger shop, office and warehouse here in beautiful Newark, DE at the beginning of August I'm extremely excited to announce that we will be adding a new member to the HHP family. This member is actually a long time fellow forum member of yours and a wicked 2005 Dodge Magnum. He is extremely active in the entire LX community, hails from the great North West, Redmond, Washington to be more exact (soon to be a Delawarean, though), AND he is one of the most enthusiastic and nicest guys you will ever meet. He's really going to be a perfect fit for HHP and we can't wait to have him out here. So, who is this guy??? If you didn't already know it's...

Electrofied !!!

And by the end of this summer you'll probably be referring to him as Jason from HHP. Jason will be leaving Washington late July and making the trek across the US on his cross-country "HHP or Bust!" LX adventure. I expect he'll be making quite a few stops along the way and seeing a large number of you guys, too, which I know he's already looking forward to.

Since you guys always want pictures of everything, here you go. Here's Jason rolling in at the Spring Fling - which is also the event where I finally had the pleasure of meeting Jason and his wonderful and extremely supportive fiance for the first time face to face:

Most of you already know a good bit about me (Joshua aka HighHorseman), that I run HHP (what most of you guys don't know is that I am also the sole owner), you might know about my background in Structural, Transportation and Civil Engineering and that I still fly for the AF Reserves on a part time basis. Now I'm going to let Jason tell you about himself. Here's an opportunity for everyone to get to know him better and for all of you to find out who Jason really is.

Jason, as your new boss I order you to tell everyone about yourself!

What a cool partnership this is going to be... for both of you. Cooler still to think that Spring Fling was part of the catalyst; amazing that we're still hearing new stories like this 3 months after the fact. Looks like you'll have to close up shop for a week each Spring to celebrate your "anniversary" Josh!

Jason, I wish you all the best in your new endeavors! Enjoy your cross country adventures and I hope you feel right at home very quickly... We'll miss you on the west coast, but these forums make a great big world seem mighy small sometimes, and we'll hope this will be one of those times.

Can't believe whats happening, this is great! After meeting you and Melanie and hanging at D@B at Spring Fling I felt immediate friendship. Now looking forward to working with you and Josh on other BIG EAST COAST L.X. MEETS. Can't wait to see "Bloodraine"(AKA..Dirty Girl), Melanie (AKA..Latin Honey) and Jason (AKA..Electrofied) again! .....Thanks Josh for bringing Electrofied to the East, I am sure he will be a great asset to you.

Okay Boss...

For those of you that do not know me... I am Jason "Electrofied" Lasswell.
I was born and raised in Bellevue, Washington and have always loved anything with wheels from cars and trucks to RC models, some of which reached real speeds of 102MPH.

For longer than I can remember I have dreamed of having a career like this, getting to do what I love, work with fantastic people, and being able to go home every day knowing I helped one of my car crazy brothers or sisters get their car one step closer to their dream ride.

My LX journey started last September when I bought my 05 Dodge Magnum RT BloodRaine and started applying my RC skills and ideas to my now 1:1 dream ride. I kind of have to laugh at myself now, what was I thinking? All I was going to do was put custom rims on that wagon...

Then I found 300CForums, ChargerForums, LX Forums, and all of you... and with the Forums I found HHP.

I started to see a whole new life with my ride... the poker runs, car shows, meet and greets... I could not believe all the wonderful people I met at every turn!

Joshua was the first one I contacted for parts in 2005… Poor guy, I kept him on the phone for over 30 minutes just to order my headers and exhaust… Right then I knew I liked HHP and the way it did its business.

After meeting Josh, along with all the other wonderful people who attended the Irvine meet in March, I knew I liked the guy… Heck, everyone like him.

So over a month ago on one of our calls regarding parts the opening came up and with a sarcastic statement from me the talks began…

To make this long post longer I will close by saying simply this… I am so excited about working for and with Josh and being part of HHP as well as knowing I will now have a chance to serve all of you.

We will be planning stops and mini m&g’s on my way to the east… We will post more about that later.
