HEAT PERFORMANCE Transmission Control Module
Upgraded Transmission Control Module for most 5.7 and 6.1 lx cars

Heat Performance is now offering an upgraded TCM for most v8 platform lx cars. It must be installed at the dealer as it must be flashed through a star scan and connected to Daimler.


This is a simple modification that will allow the car to have a positive shift as opposed to the hesitation, or pause before shifting. The module is similar and designed from the AMG Mercedes sport tune. The stall rpm is allowed to reach approx 400 rpm higher. This is done electrically. There is a mechanical stall; however there is also electronic control over it. It will make your vehicle much more natural.

-GSM has completed a performance Transmission calibration that gives the following enhancements over the stock calibration.
· Torque converter stall raised 500 rpms,
-This gets allows the car to move much quicker in to the rpms and higher torque curve resulting in quicker acceleration.

· Holds the gear longer,
-While in D the stock car will shift early and with our calibration the car holds the performance gear longer before shifting to a cruising gear or the next gear .

· Increased line pressure
-This provides quicker and firmer shifts and very exact shifting when you are under hard acceleration

· This module is a direct replacement factory part and we provide complete factory instructions.
· This unit must be installed at your dealer as the can bus system requires that you
· Have a scan tool to input the serial # to link the new module with you vehicle
· Currently this is only available for the 6.1 300, Charger and Magnum SRT’s

The ECM in the vehicle looks at various sensors such as manifold vacuum, coolant temperature, throttle position and RPM, it then processes this information and adjusts spark timing, air/fuel ratio and other parameter according to the tables stored in the JET Performance chip/module memory. By recalibrating these tables Jet Performance Products is able to tune the engine for the maximum horsepower and torque under various driving conditions.

By installing the JET module, these extra increases in performance enhance drivability, towing capabilities, reduce 1/4 miles times and provide improved overall efficiency.

STAGE 1:
If you have a stock engine with no other modification, this is the chip for you. The JET Stage 1 performance Chip is programmed for maximum power increases on a stock vehicle for improved performance under hard throttle conditions such as towing and wide open throttle acceleration.

STAGE 2:
Designed for modified vehicles with low restriction exhaust and modified air intakes. The JET Stage 2 Performance Chip has been calibrated for peak horsepower in cases where the engine has been modified to run cooler and the exhaust system is less restrictive than original equipment. *Special Note: Stage II Chips are street legal in all 50 states. *CARB E0#D-234-4

Note: Not sure which Jet module to choose? Confused? Jet gives a weird listing for this particular part. According to Jet, this part was, if anything, accidentally listed twice and given two different part numbers. Both part numbers are actually the same part and work on ALL SRT-8 Grand Cherokees. To simplify things, Jet specifically recommends ordering the 90709 module for your SRT-8. The 90420 still awaits release.
