Quick exhaust question

I have been searching the site and I've been reading mixed results along with going to multiple websites researching part numbers and prices yada yada yada.

My question is will the Flowmaster part # 942548 fit my 2006 300C? I've read on here that it will and it won't along with different websites saying that either they will or they will not. After all my research and my eyes not being able to focus on the damn computer screen anymore could somebody please give me a straight answer?

I've listened to sound clips up the wazoo and searched my price range and it has come down to either the 40's part # 42543 or the 44's part number 942548.

Last question, I've seen pictures with them in place of the suitcase and the resonators. For reference I currently have both said exhaust items removed and straight pipes for my current setup.

A million thanks to anyone that can give me a straight answer!!

They will drone...thats all i can say about flows This is just my Opinion..I have no suit case..and 2 small magnaflow resontors on my SRT the car sounds wicked...i can post clips if you like...

Nice burnout marks on the driveway! I hope they're yours.
I too am on the search for exhaust. FM is my first choice for muscle car sound, but I think I've been talked out of it on these cars.

Any idiot can build it strong, it's an engineers job to build it light.

Yea for sure I'd like to some some clips of your car, that would be great. Silly questions but I'm assuming that if your name is SRT8 that you have the 6.1? I'm not sure how much of a exhaust difference our cars have the 5.7 vs the 6.1 but I'm guessing it can't be that big of a difference.

Also if you have the part number for the mf resonators too. Are they offset/offset 2.5" on the SRT?

As for the drone for what it's worth I have a predator and the MDS is currently turned off, thank God!

Nope! They are actually from one of my brothers. He has a '08 F150 and he came over after he had a fresh set of tires put on and probably ended up leaving about 20% of the newbies on my driveway. He was smoking it out so bad that I honestly could bearly see him, it was the type of smoke that was so white and so thick from brand new stickie tires. Needless to say my wife was less than thrilled when she arrived home from work and my kids were sitting in the lawn and watched the entire burout while they were yelling and screaming because they thought it was the greatest thing in the world.

There in the back there very small i dont have the part number off hand i had a exhaust shop ive been using for years install them..i should be able to get the part number for you..drone no i dont have much if any..here are the clips..Oh the video does it no justice way better in person...

Damn man, those sound sexy. I'd really like the part number if you could get by tomorrow. I'd like to do some research on them on them before I make my final decision. Like I said before I have a price range and a budget to keep but those sounded pretty damn sexy and I'm hoping they are within my price range.

You don't happen to remember how much just the resonators were, do you? I mean minus the install charges. Also they just fit nicely back there where the stock resonators were, right?

Well I ended up going with the Flowmaster super 44's. I kept searching for the best price on these, everybody is asking about $70 and up plus shipping and after it's all said and done the total bill would be about $160 +/- Well I went back to a site that I happened to remember a site that I bought a bunch of parts from for my 2003 mustang gt and they hands down had the best prices from lowering springs to exhaust. Well they did again. I got two of the mufflers I needed for a total of $127 shipped.

I remember when a forum member was selling a used set of lowering springs and I compared prices and the website had them for cheaper brand new. They have smokin deals. You actually need to add the parts to your cart to see the real true price they sell their items for, they can't list their prices out I the open due to price restrictions from the manufacturer.

Thats cool...I know you said you have the MDS off thank god you do...even with it off your going to have tons of drone...I had a flowmaster cat back on y 05 magnum RT and that had resonators in the kit and it still droned..lol...and to top it off you do know that Flowmaster is a very restrictive muffler actually hurts performance..Just letting you know...I have a mustang GT with a turbo and i had flowmasters on it...they loose a good 40 -50 hp behind a turbo car why because they are restrictive...i went with Bassani race series mufflers due to the straight thru design..To me Flowmasters are played out...i like different...maybe you should have went with spintechs..I had them on my Magnum SRT8 talk about nice sounding...WOW...i went this route on my 300 to be different...
