Po406 Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor A Circuit High

PO406 EXHAUST GAS RECIRCULATION SENSOR A CIRCUIT HIGH, My daughters 300 limited popped this code 5 or 6 days ago anyone have this before. i have the hemi with no probs yet. thanks in advance.

Not a whole lot you can do yourself here. Diagnosing the problem requires the StarScan, but more than likely the EGR Solenoid is faulty and needs replacing.

These are the possible causes:

(K34) EGR POSITION SENSOR SIGNAL CIRCUIT SHORTED TO (F856) 5-VOLT SUPPLY CIRCUIT
(K34) EGR POSITION SENSOR SIGNAL CIRCUIT SHORTED TO BATTERY VOLTAGE
(K34) EGR POSITION SENSOR SIGNAL CIRCUIT OPEN
(K900) SENSOR GROUND CIRCUIT OPEN
EGR SOLENOID ASSEMBLY
