Thanks!

I just had my resonators removed (per this recommendation). It sounds great and only cost me $125.00. I used 3 1/2" Polished Stainless tips. Thanks for the advice.

I followed NR's lead and did the same,l removing the rear units and used some 3A Racing tips that have a bit of packing behind perforations sort of like a glasspack inside of them. I can hardly tell the difference from the stockers at idle and a bit of sound at open throttle. May change to a non-packed tip later .

I'd run those glass-paks for 3 or 4 weeks before deciding. They usually get louder.

Got them at the local Discount Auto Parts store. They are 3ARacing.Stainless Steel Bolt-on type. They were welded on by Muffler Man Rob (I think the number was 62-2354 3.5" diameter.)WWW.3ARacing.com. I'll try to post some pix if I can get around the car later today and figure out how to post 'em here.

Posted pix, but you have to look REALLY close to see the "glasspack" feature in the tips cause I painted the inside with VHT paint.

I saw these packed tips at Auto Zone and Murrays today. They had some nice ones huge ones to tiny ones. So how you likin the sound its been a few weeks.
Could i run the exhaust with out the pipes to here the sound or would i have to have the new pipe to hear what it would sound like with out the resanators? Just as a test before the finale set up?
