Recommend a muffler

This has probably been beaten to death.

I'm looking to replace just the mufflers. After looking over the factory exhaust, it looks as good as the cat backs out there. I plan to leave the reso's in.
What can you recommend, who has done this? It looks like any offset in offset out will do. I don't want a top fuel sound, I like my neighbors.
What sounds the best? Looked at magnaflow borla and flow master, what else?

Any idiot can build it strong, it's an engineers job to build it light.

That's from experience? I like flow masters on old muscle cars, but I hear negative reviews on the C's.

I went with flow masters and I like the sound but from what I've read magnaflow has a more free flowing muffler

i have magnaflow i have to admit it sounds just right, not loud at all and then when you get on it sounds deep.

Can't recommend a particular brand or size to ya as they all sound different and what sounds good to me may not sound good to you.

Having said that, I like the Magnaflow sound. Not intrusive or loud in the cabin when cruising but when you get on it, you definitely hear that deep roar coming from the pipes.

Try and listen to some of the online sound clips to get an idea of what might work for you.

I had a sound clip of my exhaust but most of the vid is with the sunroof open i closed it in the last few seconds so there is wind noise and for some odd reason the phone i used to record it picked up sounds that usually arent that high when your driving. In the vid sounds like its really loud but it really isnt at all.

I was looking at blastin Bob's 18 inch magnaflow glasspacks. They seem to be low on sound until you get on it. Hard to find the YouTube videos with aftermarket mufflers with factory resos

I'm not really able to right now, with Christmas already here and all.
Thanks though. I'll be looking more around the first of the year.
