Not my 1st choice of a wood (I wanted the black burl or black walnut), but that's what the wife wanted to bring life to an otherwise dull interior.

I purposely left off the big swath of dash trim (under the dash instrument cluster, above the glovebox area) as I think it would be way too overdone as it already is.
Thanks for sharing, teahead. Normally I don't like the wood kits in these cars, and wouldn't even think of one for an SRT. But, I got to say, that looks very cool. It does bring out the interior and gives it life. Tell your wife she has good taste....in cars and wood kits, that is.

Moose.

Yeah, it's not really my car. Wifey wanted all dat wood (pun intended).

I wouldn't have done the big LONG pieces on the door panels; just around the window switches. Nor the HVAC vents, nor the piece that goes AROUND the gauge cluster.

But she likes it and that's all dat mattas.

That wouldn't have been my choice either but it does look pretty good and it does break up the somewhat sterile interior. Great install, though. How long did that take you and how many parts did you have to remove to put the various veneers on?

Prolly took about two hours. No need to remove any parts...well...let me take that back.

If I were to do it again, I would have removed the radio/NAV bezel and paint it flat black (mask the concave area for the clock though to keep it silver).

Silver bezel shows so much. So much so that after the install, I removed the bezel w/the wood on it and had to mask the hell out of everything to avoid paint on the wood. What a PITA!.
