Stock lid is hard & very uncomfortable when you find the time to liesurely drive your beast ( it's very hard on the elbow).Comfort is supurb !! I have the sandstone interior and,as others have posted,James once again did a marvelous job in color matching the dark slate interior. When ordering the core unit, install is under 5 mins.22 Elite "rocks"

Yes Chromer, this is right at the top of the list of mods along with window tint that I feel are "musts"... even for those that don't mod.

I agree with mvp on the dark slate color preference; besides breaking up the seats and carrying over the theme of the 2-tone interior, I feel it creates a more uniform look to the console, as the top matches the color of the console base and surrounding dark slate trim perfectly...
Here's mine, hope it helps:

Definitely

Provides comfort and pulls the color together. Got mine in the dark slate to match the rest of the dash, etc.

Also easier to keep clean than the light OEM color

I thought for sure I was going to order the 22Elite center console accessory but now I'm having second thoughts. What is the primary reason folks are adding these 22Elite covers to their cars? Is it looks or comfort or???

James is adding the one thing major that Chrysler forgot. All the other great features and no leather console Shame on you Chrysler. Hard Rubber isnt good for arm rests.

Another reason to get the leather cover is the center console plastic scratches too easily. Once scratched, you cannot get rid of the scratch. If I recall correctly, a console lid replacement costs around $175. I got a permanent scratch in my console from my dog's nails within a few days of getting my car. That is why I bought the leather console cover. The leather is holding up real good to abuse.

Naturally the night I come online to order the leather console cover, the www.22elite.com website is unavailable. The "new site" designation takes me to a page with nothing more than black and white lines.

Oh the agony!

Lee,
I had no problem accessing the site just now. Try this direct link to the console covers.
