sound deadener

Im in the market for sound deadener to quite the interior from my stereo rattles and blastinbob's 4" straight pipe exhaust. Since the stuff aint cheap. How much will I need? I want to do the trunk (side walls, floors, spare tire wells). Will I be able to get away with 50 sq feet?

Thanx

You might want to try a spray on bedliner company. I own a company call Platinum coatings. We sprayed all the speakers boxes at Indy and we aslo spray alot of chase trucks for the Baja for noise. The boxes are very high end and we did alot of sound test. It works great. You might have a Rhino Linings near you.

I've used DynaMat and it worked very well for my other show car.
It really does'nt take that much.
If your trying to deaden the sound and not completely put a wall between you and everything else.
This stuff is also kinda heavy.
If you looking at it form a weight perspective.

50 sq ft is more than enough.
